Confirmed!  Dr. J from Performance Wellness will be at Tuesday’s workout.  Way to coach, Al!

Vance was correct in his recent email.  The parking lot at Auditorium Shores will be unavailable Saturday morning due to the Austin Food and Wine Festival.  Vance was also correct in suggesting One Texas as an alternate for your parking needs.  Way to coach, Al!

The Workout – hilly figure 8 mile repeats (aka hf8mr)

News – there will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning.  On the trail this week for 4, 7, or 10 miles.  Breakfast at Cheko’s (1304 Koenig) at 9:01:01 am.

This coming Tuesday (May 2nd) is the first Tuesday of May so Dr. J from Performance Wellness will be representing.  Bring your aches/pains (regardless of source…for example, it could be from running OR moving OR just getting old).

The Workout – timed mile, Indian file mile, 2 x (3-person relay)

News – there will be a hill workout on Thursday (repeats).  There will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning.  On the trail this week for 4, 7, or 10 miles.  Breakfast at Cheko’s (1304 Koenig) at 9:01:01 am.

The Capitol 10k this weekend may or may not be occupying the parking lot at the zero.  If it is consider using One Texas.

The Workout – tempo runs of 5 miles or 3 miles if you turned back at the cooler

News – there will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am on Saturday morning.  Off the trail this week for 7.02 miles or 11 miles (7 milers run the linked route, 11 milers run the linked route but, upon returning to the zero, complete the 4 mile loop on the trail).  Breakfast at Hoover’s (2002 Manor Rd) at 9:09:09 am.

The Capitol 10k this weekend may or may not be dominating the parking lot at the zero.  If it is consider using One Texas.  I’m always surprised by the number of fools who are a few minutes late and discover that we’re already a few minutes down the trail.

The Workout – Yasso 800s
Fun Group = 4
Fast Group = 6

News – there will be a hill workout on Thursday (tempo runs of 5 miles or 3 miles, 3 milers turn back at the cooler).  There will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am on Saturday morning.  Off the trail this week for 7.02 miles or 11 miles (7 milers run the linked route, 11 milers start on the linked route but complete the 4 mile loop on the trail by turning left onto the Barton Springs footbridge on the return).  Breakfast at Hoover’s (2002 Manor Rd) at 9:09:09 am.

The signs have been up for a while letting everyone know that the Auditorium Shores parking lot will be unavailable this weekend due to Reggae Fest.   Though the urge to loiter at the zero while enjoying the faint waft of Sour Diesel will be strong…we will depart promptly at 7:00:00 am, mon.

The Workout – 400s and 800s
Fun Group = 6 x 400, 1 x 800
Fast Group = 6 x 400, 2 x 800

Thank you to Austin Runners Club for having the folks from 361 out this evening with some shoes to wear test.

Just because there are no festivals scheduled for this weekend doesn’t mean the parking lot will be available.  If it is, use it!  If it isn’t, head to One Texas!  Way to coach, Al!
