It’s warming up, in case you haven’t noticed.  Be mindful of both THE and YOUR condition(s) and respond accordingly.

The Workout – tempo runs of 3 miles or 5 miles

News – there will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning.  On the trail this week for 3, 6, or 10 miles (counter-clockwise).  Breakfast at Fareground (2nd/Congress) at 9:00:01.  There is very little or no FREE parking anywhere around Fareground, plan accordingly.

Mega thanks to Coach Al and Sandy for opening up the mansion for our long run this past Saturday!

I can’t find anything on the calendar that would preclude us from parking in our parking lot on Saturday morning.

This is the last Tuesday of May so next Tuesday, June 5th, is the first Tuesday of June.  Dr. J from Performance Wellness should be at the workout.

The Workout – 800s, 400s, 200s
Fun Group = 2 of each
Fast Group = 3 of each

News – there will be a hill workout on Thursday (tempo runs of 3 miles or 5 miles).  There will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning.  On the trail this week for 3, 6, or 10 miles (counter-clockwise).  Breakfast at Fareground (2nd/Congress) at 9:00:01.  There is very little or no FREE parking anywhere around Fareground, plan accordingly.

Yes, the rumors are true.  Saturday’s long run will, in fact, NOT be departing from the zero at 7:00:00 am.

The Workout – long hill/short hill repeats
Fun Group = 4
Fast Group = 6
Fools Group = 12

News – there will be a long run departing Sandy’s mansion at 7:00:00 am on Saturday morning.  9.92 miles or less if you turn around and head back to the mansion after completing half the distance you’d like to cover.  There will be liquids at mile 2, mile 5, and mile 8 as well as at the start/finish.  Breakfast at the mansion to follow…tacos, pastries, casseroles, coffee, juice.  FREE.

Don’t worry about the CapTex Tri blocking our parking lot Saturday morning because we’re NOT RUNNING FROM THE ZERO SATURDAY MORNING!!  Saturday’s long run will be departing from Sandy’s mansion at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning and will be followed by a FREE breakfast feast of tacos, pastries, and assorted casseroles.  Way to coach, Al!

The Workout – timed 800, 4 x 400 w/a partner, 2 x 3-person relay, twice around backwards on the straights/jog the curves

News – there will be a hill workout on Thursday (repeats).  There will be a long run departing Sandy’s mansion at 7:00:00 am on Saturday morning.  9.92 miles or less if you turn around and head back to the mansion after completing half the distance you’d like to cover.  There will be liquids at mile 2, mile 5, and mile 8 as well as at the start/finish.

Everyone = twice around…backwards on the straights, jog the curves

News – there will be a hill workout on Thursday (tempo runs of 3 miles or 4 miles).  There will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning.  Off the trail this week for 7.02 miles or 10 miles (10 milers run the linked route and add 3 miles by running on the trail from S 1st to I-35).  Breakfast at Maria’s Taco Express (2529 S Lamar) at 8:57:57 am.

News – there will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning.  Off the trail this week for 10.12 miles or 6.68 miles.  Fluids as follows:

water @ the rock
gatorade @ 35th/Expo
water @ pease park (just off Lamar before the 15th St. overpass)

Breakfast at Little Mexico (2304 S 1st) at 9:03:03 am.
