Good luck to everyone running the Run for the Water on Sunday!  I don’t recall the race interfering with our parking lot on Saturday morning but be prepared to use TxDOT.  The AIDS Walk is Saturday but appears to be north of the river.

Also, extra good luck to all the fools running the New York Marathon on Sunday!  Special shout out to Ryan who takes with him quite a remarkable and inspirational story.  Can’t wait to read some race reports!!

Coach Al needs YOU to lead a pace group Saturday morning.  Please let him know if you’re available to assist.

Tuesday – timed mile, Indian file mile, timed mile AND a large check presentation to O. Henry from ARC and those of you who donated to the campaign individually…way to coach, Al!

Thursday – tempo runs of 1, 2, or 5 miles by running this loop

Saturday – there will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning.  On the trail this week (theoretically) for 4, 7, or 10 miles.  Breakfast at Maria’s Taco Express (2529 S Lamar) at 8:55:55 am with  FREE cake to celebrate November birthdays!

Run every chance you get!

Piknic Electronik may impact our ability to park in the close parking lot (aka our parking lot) on Saturday morning.  If so, use TxDot.

Marathoners = 6 x 800
Half Marathoners = 5 x 800

Thursday – 5 mile tempo

Saturday – there will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning.  Off the trail this week for 7.94 miles or 13.32 miles.  Breakfast at Rudy’s (3914 N Lamar) at 9:30:30 am.

Signage at our Saturday parking lot indicates that the Livestrong challenge is Sunday, October 21st.  That may or may not mean that the parking lot will be unavailable Saturday morning.  Be prepared to use TxDot just in case.

Looking ahead, there is also signage indicating that something called Piknic Electronik is the following weekend (October 27th).  Apparently it’s quite a thing in Montreal…this is its inaugural event in Austin.  It is more likely that the parking lot will not be available that weekend.

Tuesday – 400m repeats
Marathoners = 6 w/a partner, 4 solo
Half Marathoners = 6 w/a partner, 2 solo

Thursday – 5k time trial!

Saturday – there will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning.  On the trail this week for 4, 7, or 10 miles.  Breakfast at Taco Joint (134 E Riverside) at 8:55:55 am.
