Week of 6/18/2023

Happy hour for the month of June will be at Lazarus (4803 Airport) immediately following the Tuesday evening workout! Let Julie know if you plan to attend.

Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 400m repeats (fun group = 6 x 400 w/a partner, fast group = 6 x 400 w/a partner + 2 x 400 solo, fools group = 6 x 400 w/a partner + 4 x 400 solo). Cool down with an easy mile.

Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do hilly 1000m repeats (fun group = 3, fast group = 4, fools group = 5). Cool down with an easy mile.

Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero (676 W Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning…but WAIT, there’s more! It’s time for triple threat Saturday. Part 1 = departing at 6:00:00 am for a 1 mile run. Part 2 = departing at 6:15:00 am for a 5k run. Part 3 = departing at 7:00:00 am for a 10k run, a 10 mile run, or a half marathon run. Run as many or as few parts as you’d like. Breakfast at Little Mexico (2304 S 1st) 9:10:11 am.
