We have five runs per week (260 runs per year). In general, we run rain or shine. We don’t run if there is lightning within 10 miles of our location at workout time.
As with any physical activity, it is up to each participant to decide what they’re comfortable with in terms of exertion (duration/intensity, etc…) and weather (heat/rain/cold, etc…). The runs are completely voluntary…you can do as much or as little as your fitness level allows.
Please read, print, and sign this waiver and bring it with you to your first run.
Water is available at the Tuesday PM, Thursday PM , and Saturday AM runs/workouts. Gatorade is available at most Tuesday PM, Thursday PM, and Saturday AM runs as well though we do not put Gatorade out the Saturdays we stay on the trail. You should be hydrated when you show up and maintain your hydration during the workouts.
Jerie’s Kids runs on Monday AM and Thursday AM are on the trail with fountains at the start/finish as well as every two miles or so along the trail. Consider carrying your own refillable bottle until you’re sure that what’s there is adequate for you.
