Reminder that Thursday’s hill workout will NOT start at O. Henry…it’ll start at Chez Jerie at 6:30 pm and be followed by burgers/veggie burgers/hotdogs, liquid refreshment, and a dip in the pool (pool boy, aka Big, has been working hard to achieve pool water perfection and just may have)!
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do ins/outs on this route for 26 continuous minutes by striding on both 9th and 10th and jogging on Wayside and Possum Trot. Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet at Chez Jerie at 6:30 pm (yes, 6:30, to allow a little extra time to get up north) for a short warm up jog to Far West/Ladera Norte. Then do a quality hill workout up Ladera Norte. Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero (676 W Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. Mostly off the trail this week for 10.01 miles, 6.70 miles, or 4.26 miles. Breakfast at El Borrego de Oro (3900 S Congress) when you arrive.
