Saturday’s long run will NOT be departing from the zero (see below)!

Coach Al needs pace group leaders for Saturday’s long run. Let him know if you can help!

Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do Yasso 800s (marathoners = 9, half marathoners = 6). Cool down with an easy mile.

Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 4 x hilly 1200m repeats. Cool down with an easy mile.

Saturday – there will be a long run departing from County Line World Headquarters (512 E Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. About half on and half off the trail this week for (marathoners) 20.06 miles, (half marathoners) 15.14 miles, (shorter route) 10.03 miles, or (shortest route) 6.43 miles. Marathoners and half marathoners start with the 10.03 miler. If you only want to run 10 miles, I have great news…YOU’RE DONE! Marathoners then repeat the 10.03 miler while half marathoners tack on this 5.11 miler. Breakfast at Taco Joint (134 E Riverside) upon your arrival.
