Week of 5/12/2024

Dr. C (aka Alyssa) will be at Thursday’s workout to put a hurtin’ on whatever might be hurtin’ ya. She’ll set up immediately following the workout in the parking lot where we do the drills for four (4) 15 minute assessment/treatments for, you guessed it, FREE! First come, first served. If it turns out you need more than 15 minutes she offers the group 40% off initial office visits and 15% off follow up treatments after. Check out her web site for more info. Thanks, Dr. C!!

Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a timed mile, an Indian file mile, and a 2×3 person relay. Cool down with an easy mile.

Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a hilly tempo run of 3 miles (start at 10th/Expo, N on Expo, L on Enfield, R on Hopi, L on Windsor, L on Rockmoor, L on Enfield, R on Expo, and finish at 10th/Expo) or 4 miles (start at 10th/Expo, N on Expo, L on Enfield, R on Hopi, L on Windsor, R on Matthews, L on Scenic, L on Stevenson, R on Rockmoor, L on Enfield, R on Expo, and finish at 10th/Expo). Cool down with an easy mile.

Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero (676 W Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. Almost entirely off the trail this week for 10.58 miles, 7.72 miles, or 5.48 miles. Breakfast at El Borrego de Oro (3900 S Congress) at 9:10:11 am.
