Mega thanks to Jeff D. for bringing the happy hours and keeping them fresh!
Commitment issues? Commit to being a pace group leader AND do it as early in the week as humanly possible!! The sooner you do it the sooner coach can go back to enjoying the retirement that Sandy’s multiple jobs so generously affords them. Ok, that’s what’s in it for him…but what about you?? Being a pace group leader earns you the admiration and respect of your fellow runners, gives you a chance to give back to the group, and might even give you a legit shot at being Shipmate of the Year (SotY)! I can’t remember the last SotY that wasn’t a pace group leader…can you? Let coach know if you can lead a pace group…today!!
