Saturday’s long run will NOT be departing from the zero due to the Austin Wine and Food Festival.
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do Kenyan Style Fartleks for 3 miles or 26 minutes. Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do hilly 800m repeats from Joe’s Stump. Marathoners = 6, half marathoners = 4. 1st, 3rd, and 5th rep = north on Meriden, L on 12th, L on Possum Trot, L on 11th to Meriden. 2nd, 4th, and 6th rep = west on 11th from 11th/Meriden, R on Possum Trot, R on 12th, R on Meriden, finish at Joe’s Stump. Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from County Line World Headquarters (512 E Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. A little on but mostly off the trail this week for (marathoners) 14.34 miles, (half marathoners) 11.16 miles, or (shorter route) 6.22 miles. Breakfast at Rudy’s (3914 N Lamar) when you get there!
