Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a ladder like so (marathoners = 400, 800, 1600, 1600, 800, 400 or half marathoners = 400, 800, 1600, 800, 400). Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 3 x 1 mile repeats (start at 10th/Wayside, head south on Wayside, L on 7th, L on Meriden, L on 11th, L on Possum Trot, R on 10th, L on Wayside, finish at Wayside/10th). Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero (676 W Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. Mostly off the trail this week for (marathoners) 16.14 miles, or (half marathoners) 12.26 miles, or (shorter route) 6.14 miles. So basically…everyone starts with the “shorter route” and then marathoners add on their linked route and half marathoners add on their linked route and anyone who wants to run around 6 miles stops. Breakfast at Little Mexico (2304 S 1st) at the precise moment of your arrival.
