Tuesday, November 19th, after the track workout, we’ll have our monthly happy hour at HEB Lake Austin. Let Jeff D. know if you’re likely to attend!
Next Thursday, November 28th, is Thanksgiving. There will NOT be a workout on that Thursday evening. There will instead be a SHIP Turkey Trot of 3 or 5 miles departing from 10th/Expo at 7:00:00 am that morning. Way to coach, Al!!
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 1000m repeats (marathoners = 6, half marathoners = 5). Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a tempo run of 3 miles (half marathoners) or 5 miles (marathoners). Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero (676 W Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. Mostly off the trail this week for (marathoners/half marathoners) 10.01 miles, or (shorter route) 6.08 miles, or (shortest route) 3.74 miles. Breakfast at El Borrego de Oro (3900 S Congress) at 8:59:59 am. November birthdays will be celebrated (ie…cake)!
