Coach Al needs pace group leaders for Saturday’s long run. Let him know if you can help out. The earlier in the week you let him know the better!
Saturday’s long run will depart from County Line World Headquarters. Tuesday’s workout is on your own (as in not at O. Henry at 6 pm).
Tuesday – it’s Christmas Eve…do Yasso 800s on your own (marathoners = 9, half marathoners = 6). Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a tempo run of 3 miles (half marathoners) or 5 miles (marathoners). Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from County Line World Headquarters (512 E Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. Marathoners and half marathoners start with this 10.03 miler. Then marathoners run that same route a second time while half marathoners add this 5.11 miler. Alternatively, one could also stop after the 10.03 miler or even go shorter than 10.03 miles by doing this 6.43 miler. Breakfast at Taco Joint (134 E Riverside) when you get there!
