Mega congrats to everyone who ran the Austin Marathon or Half Marathon! Remember, it’s never too early to start training for next year!! Way to coach, Al!!!
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do Fartleks (26 minute continuous run jogging the curves and striding the straights). Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a 3 mile or 4 mile tempo run. Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from County Line World Headquarters (512 E Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. On/off the trail this week for 12.09 miles, 7.04 miles, or 3.64 miles. Breakfast at Little Mexico (2304 S 1st) when you arrive. February and March birthdays will be celebrated…CAKE!!
