September happy hour immediately following the Tuesday workout at Draught House! Let Jeff D. know if you plan on attending.
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 1000m repeats (marathoners = 6, half marathoners = 5). Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 4 x hilly 1200m repeats (3 miles total). Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero (676 W Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. About half on and half off the trail this week for 14.25 miles (start with this 10.01 miler and then add this 4.24 miler), 10.01 miles, 7.03 miles, or 4.61 miles. Breakfast at Rudy’s (3914 N Lamar) when you get there (September birthdays will be celebrated…aka FREE cake). ATX Runners will have a board meeting beginning promptly at 10:00:00 am, all are welcome to attend.
