The St. George Marathon is Saturday so the group will be a little smaller this weekend. We’ll have informal pace groups. Good luck in Utah!!
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 400m repeats (marathoners/half marathoners = 6 x 400 w/a partner + 2 solo, non marathoners/half marathoners = 6 x 400 w/a partner). Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a tempo run of 3 miles or 4 miles. Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero (676 W Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. Out/back on the Shoal Creek Trail for as much as 15.01 miles (marathoners), or 10.58 miles, or 8 miles (half marathoners u-turn at Shoal Creek/45th) or 4 miles (u-turn after the you get water at Pease Park). Breakfast at Taco Joint (134 E Riverside) when you arrive.
