Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 400m repeats (marathoners = 6 w/a partner and 4 solo, half marathoners = 6 w/a partner). Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a timed 5k TRAINING RUN to kickoff the final 16 weeks until the Austin Marathon. Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from County Line World Headquarters (512 E Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. About a third on and two thirds off the trail this week for 14.17 miles, 9.05 miles, 7.00 miles, or 4.00 miles. Everybody starts off on this 9.05 mile route. Marathoners and half-marathoners run the whole thing, 7 milers u-turn at the cooler, 4 milers u-turn at the Barton Creek Footbridge, and marathoners tack on this 5.12 miler when you get back to the County Line. Breakfast at Little Mexico (2304 S 1st) when you get there. October birthdays will be celebrated (aka FREE cake and whatnot).
