Week of 11/2/2025

With the time change over the weekend, it will be quite dark at the Tuesday/Thursday evening workouts. Break out your reflective gear, bright clothing, and lights. Way to coach, Al!

Tim needs pace group leaders for Saturday’s long run. Let him know if you can help!

Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do Yasso 800s (marathoners = 7, half marathoners = 6). Cool down with an easy mile.

Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a tempo run of 3 miles (half marathoners) or 5 miles (marathoners). Cool down with an easy mile.

Saturday – there will be a long run departing from County Line World Headquarters (512 E Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. Kinda mostly off the trail this week for 15.22 miles (marathoners) or 9.22 miles (half marathoners) or 4ish miles. Everybody starts with this 9.22 mile route. Half marathoners are done but the marathoners tack on this 6.00 miler. 4 milers turn back at the bridge over Barton Creek. Breakfast at Rudy’s (3914 N Lamar) at 9:10:11 am (November birthdays will be celebrated…aka FREE cake like product).
