Mega thanks to Chris for picking up monthly happy hour duties and kicking it off with a short jaunt over to Deep Eddy after last Tuesday’s track workout. Is it February yet??
Speaking of February…SAVE THE DATE!! This year’s marathon party will be at Chez Jerie on Friday evening, February 13th. More details to follow as the date approaches.

Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 1000m repeats (marathoners = 6, half marathoners = 5). Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 4 x hilly 1200m repeats. Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero (676 W Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. Mostly off the trail this week for 22.28 miles (marathoners), 10.37 miles (half marathoners), or 6.14 miles (shorter route). Breakfast at Taco Joint (134 E. Riverside) when you’re done.
