Week of 2/15/2026

Mega thanks to Jerie and Katie for whipping up lasagna for 100 on Friday night! Congrats to Art & C/M for bringing home Shipmate(s) of the Year honors!! Last, but certainly not least, congrats to everyone who ran the Austin Marathon or Half Marathon! Way to coach, Al!!

SAVE THE DATE! Tuesday, February 24th, will be our monthly happy hour immediately following the track workout. Chris is thinking Pinthouse Pizza on Burnet Rd.

Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a ladder (fast group = 1600, 1200, 800, 400 and fun group = 1600, 800, 400). Click here to see how to accomplish these distances on the O. Henry track. Cool down with an easy mile.

Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a tempo run of 4 miles. Cool down with an easy mile.

Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero (676 W Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. Mostly off the trail this week for 11.26 miles, 9.18 miles, or 4.21 miles. Breakfast at Rudy’s (3914 N. Lamar) at 9:10:11 am (or whenever you arrive) February birthdays will be celebrated (aka FREE cake).
