Week of 3/15/2026

Happy hour Thursday immediately following the hill workout at Bouldin Acres (2027 S Lamar)…let Chris know if you plan on being there!

Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a fast ladder (but not too fast on the first 200…protect them hammies…800, 600, 400, 200, 200, 400, 600, 800). Here is a link to the O. Henry track to study up on the different distances. Cool down with an easy mile.

Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do Spring Sprint Series #2. Cool down with an easy mile.

Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero (676 W Riverside) at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. On/off the trail this week for 10.55 miles (start with the 7.11 mile route and add this 3.44 miler), 7.11 miles, or 5.00 miles (turn back at the cooler at Barton Hills/Wilke). Breakfast at Rudy’s (3914 N Lamar) at 9:10:11 am (there will be an ATX Runners board meeting starting at 9:30:00 am AND March birthdays will be celebrated…aka…FREE CAKE).
