The first official workout of summer was cancelled due to the heat and humidity. The thought of doing mile repeats in the heat/humidity was just too tempting for the vast majority of those who had congregated…so many hung around and did the workout that was scheduled prior to the cancellation. Mary managed to retain the WoW.

News – Sauvie Islanders are in severe taper mode so I’m uncertain if there will be a mansion loop on Wednesday. There will be a hill workout on Thursday. 3 mile tempo. There will be a long run on Saturday departing the zero at 7:00:00 am. On the trail this week for 4, 7, or 10. BIMTG will be departing the zero at 5:50:00 am for 7 extra and then adding Holly to the 10 mile loop for a total 18.
