Awesome Cinco de Mayo workout!  Way to coach, Al!!

The Workout – QUALITY – from the bottom of the short, steep hill on 11th between Meriden and Possum Trot…you sprint to the top.  You only have to do one but it has to be all out.  If you do more than one the ALL have to be all out.  Most did 5.

News – there will be a long run on Saturday departing the zero at 7:00:00 am.  We’ll be doing the Barton Hills Lollipop plus whatever you want to add on the trail.  Breakfast at Hoover’s whenever you get there!

More News – 5k season is upon us!  Austin’s oldest race, the 34th annual Dukes and Daisies 5k, is this weekend.  Come support the Austin Runners Club and put a smack down on your running buddies!

Yet More News Still – once you’ve knocked the 5k cobwebs off at Daisy…Frank’s Summer Stampede series is back for its 8th year starting May 11th.  The series alternates between Brushy Creek and the Trail on Wednesday evenings at 7:00:00 pm.  The May 11th kick-off is at Brushy.  The races are chip timed, $10 each, or $100 for all 12 (buy 10 get two FREE).

Save the Date – Saturday, May 28th, the long run will be out in Lago Vista at the home of Vance and Marilyn Taylor.  Please let Vance know by May 23rd if you’ll be able to make it…and watch your email for details.

Run every chance you get!
