There is a shorter route possible than the one I eluded to in the Tuesday report. Thanks to Coach Al for pointing this out for the benefit of anyone wishing to run less than 7ish. There will be a water/gatorade at the school on Barton Hills a little over a mile and a half into the lollipop. Anyone turning around there and heading back to the zero will run closer to 5 miles (slightly over). The map has a little zigzag with a water stop that can be ignored. Also, for those who just can’t get enough hills, you can add Wilke either coming or going or both for an extra half mile each time you do it.
The Workout – long hill/short hill
Fun Group = 4
Fast Group = 6
PYNOI Group = 8 (Jules, Penny, Ryan, Steve, Elizabeth)
PYNOIWAEP Group = 9 (J, Gary, Amy)
News – there will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am. We’ll be doing the lollipop plus whatever additional on the trail you’d like to do. The shortest route possible (SRP) from the zero around the pop and back is 7.5 miles…which can be shortened per the opening paragraph. Breakfast at Dario’s (1800 E 6th) commencing at approximately 8:49:18 am.
Run every chance you get!
