Reminder – (from Tuesday’s report) The build up phase of our annual marathon training for the Austin Marathon begins in a few short weeks. That means it’s time to hit the trail for a few recruiting drives. Coach Al is looking for a few good guys/gals to help out. The target dates are the last week of July/first week of August. Please let Coach Al know if you can help out. Basic duties will involve hanging around at the rock and/or the zero, looking good, handing out gatorade, and telling people about the Runners Club and the training program.
The Workout – figure 8 relays (.9 miles each set)
Fun Group = 2 sets
Fast Group = 3 sets
PYNOI Group = 4 sets (Chris, Matt, Gary, Stefan)
News – there will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am on Saturday. On the trail this week for 4, 7, or 10 miles. Breakfast at Galaxy Cafe (1000 West Lynn) at 8:50:50 am.
