We finally had our first 100 degree workout of the summer and, as usual, the group was the largest it’s been since last summer.  Lots of newcomers and familiar faces returning for the fun and frivolity.  If you missed it, don’t worry!  It’s supposed to be 102 on Thursday and 104 on Saturday before cooling off to 98 next week.  Way to coach, Al!

The Workout – 800 meter repeats (not of the Yasso variety…each of these needed to be 2 seconds faster than the last one)
Newcomers Group = 2
Fun Group = 5 (might have been closer to 4)
Fast Group = 6

News – there will be a Stampede departing Brushy Creek at 7:00 pm on Wednesday.  There will be a hill workout on Thursday (repeats).  There will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am on Saturday.  Off the trail this week for 6.43 miles or 10.07 miles.  You’re going to want to study these maps…they’re new routes!  Breakfast at Hoover’s (2002 Manor Rd) at 8:59:59 am.
