Save the date! The Austin Marathon/Half Marathon training is scheduled to kick off at the Tuesday workout on August 24th, 2021!!
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside at 6:00 pm and warm up with drills and whatnot…we’ll have water/Gatorade. Then run (fun group) 6 x 400 w/a partner then 2 x 400 solo or (fast group) 6 x 400 w/a partner then 4 x 400 solo. (Strava label = SPEED)
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside at 6:00 pm and warm up with drills and whatnot … we’ll have water/Gatorade. Then do long hill/short hill, fun group = 6 sets…fast group = 9 sets. (Strava label = TEMPO)
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero at 7:00:00 am. ON the trail this week for 3.44 miles, 6.58 miles, or 10.04 miles. Breakfast at El Borrego de Oro. (Strava label = LONG)
