SAVE THE DATE! Tuesday, August 23rd, is the timed mile kick off for the 2023 Austin Marathon/Half Marathon training!
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then run 1600m repeats (Fun Group = 2, Fast Group = 3, Fools Group = 4). Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 1200m hill repeats (Fun Group = 3, Fast Group = 4). Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero mile marker at 7:00:00 am. Off the trail (but on a different trail) for 11.79 miles, 7.76 miles, or 4.11 miles. Breakfast at Little Mexico (2304 S 1st) upon your arrival.
