The wait is finally over…Tuesday is the kick off timed mile for the 2022/2023 Ship Shape Marathon/Half Marathon training for the 2023 Austin Marathon.
Coach Al needs pace group leaders for Saturday’s long run…let him know if you can help!
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then run a timed mile (followed by 2 x 1 mile easy for the fast group and 1 x 1 mile easy for the fun group). Cool down with an even easier mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 3 x hilly mile repeats. Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero mile marker at 7:00:00 am. Kinda mostly off the trail this week for 12.01 miles, 10.01 miles, or 7.09 miles. Breakfast at Rudy’s (3914 N. Lamar) at kinda right about the time you get there.
