Coach Al needs pace group leaders for Saturday’s long run…let him know if you can help!
Coach Al and Sandy really know how to party! Last Saturday’s long run from the mansion was, well, epic! So much FREE running, so much FREE breakfast, and so much FREE Shiner! Way to coach, Al! Way to be the hostess with the mostest, Sandy!!
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then run Kenyan style Fartleks (if you have to ask then you wouldn’t understand). Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do 6 x hilly 800 repeats. Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. Three routes/distances to choose from…(marathoners) 14.01 miles, (half marathoners) 11.39 miles, or (shorter route) 4.26 miles. Breakfast at Taco Joint (134 E Riverside) upon your arrival.
