Congrats to everyone who finished or is almost (at the time of publication) finished with the Austin Marathon/Half Marathon! Way to coach, Al!!
This Thursday, yes THURSDAY, after the hill workout there will be a happy hour at Brewtorium, yes BREWTORIUM! Let your fabulous Shipmate of the Year, Julie, know if you plan on being there.
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do (fast group) 1600, 1200, 800, and 400 or (fun group) 1600, 800, and 400. Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a tempo run of 4 miles. Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero at 7:00:00 am Saturday morning. Welcome to out/back Saturday!! Everybody will head out for as much as 10.58 miles and anybody who wants to run less than 10.58 miles can simply turn around as soon as they’ve gone half as far as they want to go. Breakfast at Rudy’s (3914 N Lamar) at 8:59:59 am to beat the 9:00:00 am rush.
