Gusty winds and cold temperatures did not dissuade a pretty good sized group from showing up for a hilly tempo. About 2/3rds of the group opted for the single loop, the other 1/3rd tackled the double. A rumor circulated that a very small (but very wise) group of one or so did the drills and went home!
The Workout – hilly tempo (once or twice around this 5 mile route)
News – there will be a long run on Saturday. CHANGE OF SCENERY AND A FREE BREAKFAST!! The group will be departing from Sandy’s Mansion (7510 Downridge) at 7:00:00 am for a 10 miler. If you’d like to get in 15, there is a group starting at 6:05:00 am for an extra 5 miles. There will be gatorade at Hancock/Shoal Creek on the 10 mile route. Breakfast will begin when the first person returns. Way to coach, Al!
