There were five people at the store when the workout officially began at 5:45:00 pm. There were around 35 at the track.
Now, a word on safety. When running with a group it is still important to think like an individual. Just because the person in front of you or beside you finds it safe to cross a street doesn’t automatically make it safe for you. All the same rules apply. Look both ways, make eye contact, wave, and don’t cross if it’s even close. Live to run another day.
The Workout – 3 mile tempo (but we ran it the opposite direction of the map thanks to Amber…from now on we’ll refer to that as “the hard way”)
