We only have one rule…Rule #1. Rule #1 is “don’t make the rest of us look bad.” Consider the rest of these suggestions. You should only ever cross the road when you think it is safe for you to do so. Not because the person in front of you or beside you crossed. Look and decide based on your judgment of the situation. Also, the Thursday tempo routes and Saturday long run maps are posted in advance so that everyone running them has an equal chance of knowing where they’re supposed to be going, turn-by-turn. Once the map is sent out and then described immediately prior to taking off it should be relatively simple to run the route. If someone in front of you turns where a turn is not supposed to be…don’t follow them. Be courageous and forge ahead on the path you know to be correct. It is your inalienable right to run the route as mapped and described.
The Workout – tempo runs of 4 miles or 5 miles
News – there will be a long run on Saturday departing the zero at 7:00:00 am. Off the trail this week for 5 miles or 11 miles. There will be a group starting at 6:00 am for 4 extra. Breakfast at Cafe Express whenever you get there.
