December is shaping up to be a big and busy month for the ship! Mega thanks to Dr. Chris from Perfomance Wellness for braving the dark to offer healing assistance on this first Tuesday of the month. Also, thanks to Summer and Austin Runners Club for the PowerICE samples. Please remember to let Summer know what you think about the product if you took a sample!
Listed below are a few things to keep in mind over the next couple of weeks:
Saturday, December 8th, 6:30 pm – pre-Decker shindig at Penny’s house (catered by Malka). Please email Penny to RSVP and she’ll provide directions. Way to party, Penny!
Sunday, December 9th – if you’re not running Decker, please volunteer for the ship’s Decker water stop! Email Coach Al if you can help. We still need bodies!!
Saturday, December 15th – the long run that typically starts from the zero at 7:00:00 am will start and finish at Sandy’s mansion. It will be followed by FREE breakfast served by the mansion’s staff. Way to coach, Al!
The Workout – 2×1200, 4×800
News – there will be a hill workout on Thursday (5 mile tempo). There will be a long run Saturday departing the zero at 7:00:00 am. On the trail this week for 12 or 20 miles. Breakfast at Little Mexico (2304 S 1st) whenever you get there.
