Remember, if there is a football game at the O. Henry field that the track encircles…the workout will move just north on Exposition to Bridle Path (to the left). A real game is one in which there are officials, yard markers, fans, and the like.
The Workout – 1200s, 800s, half lap relay
Fast/Marathon Group = 2 x 1200, 2 x 800
Fun/Half Marathon Group = 1 x 1200, 2 x 800
The entire group then did 3 x half lap relay (alternating forward/backward)
News – there will be a hill workout on Thursday (5 mile tempo or 4 mile temp…same route but turn around at mile 2…there will be a cooler at the turn around spot). There will be a long run on Saturday departing the zero at 7:00:00 am. Off the trail this week for 5 miles or 11 miles (the 5 mile route along with this dandy 6 miler). Breakfast (and Fast Jack’s 70th b-day bash) at Little Mexico (2304 S 1st St) at 9:05:05 am.
