As previously mentioned, a formal RSVP for the marathon party should arrive in your inbox shortly. If you’ve emailed me your RSVP…you’re not RSVPd. Please respond to the formal invitation. 50 people is about as many as we can squeeze in here so the party is limited to the first 50 people who respond. Your kiddo/non-running significant other/friend/mom/dad/uncle/brother/sister/in-laws/niece/nephew/cousin/grandparent is also welcome with the following caveat; they’re going to displace someone from the group. What can you bring? Nothing! We’ll have both meat and veggie lasagna, salad, bread, dessert, water, gatorade, and Shiner. If you want something other than that (yellow beer, wine, or super vegan tofu lasagna) feel free to bring it. You don’t have to be running the marathon to attend.
The Workout – 3 x 1600
News – there will be a hill workout on Thursday (10 mile tempo…run the linked route twice). There will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am on Saturday morning. Off the trail this week for 15.4 miles. There will be water/gatorade at the following spots:
Mile 2 – water @ the rock
Mile 6 – gatorade @ the dry cleaners (plus a garden hose)
Mile 8 – water @ the Exxon (if inop go to Randall’s or skip)
Mile 10 – gatorade @ the dry cleaners (plus a garden hose)
Mile 13 – water @ the rock
