So many people to thank and so much to be thankful for…it almost feels like the fourth Thursday in November!! Mega thanks to Heather for another great La Mancha happy hour! Thanks to William and High Five Events for coming out to help launch our marathon/half marathon training (and for the FREE entry raffle…congrats, Melissa!)! Thanks to Dr. Laurie for the Airrosti! Most of all, thanks to YOU for the support and encouragement of our new non-profit overlay (ATX Runners). While we (and definitely I) may have envisioned it being a quiet entity running in the background…it’s becoming more and more obvious that it is going to be more than that. Keep those suggestions coming!
Tuesday: Marathoners = 6 x 400 w/a partner, 3 x 800
Half Marathoners = 6 x 400 w/a partner, optional 1 -3 800s
Thursday: Fartleks of the hilly variety
Saturday: There will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am on Saturday morning. Off the trail this week for 10.4 miles, 6.9 miles, or 4.07 miles. About a mile into the run we will stop for a quick group photo at the corner of Lamar/5th (around the large ATX in the Whole Foods parking lot…great idea, Sandy!!). There will be liquids as follows:

gatorade @ Harris/29th
water @ 45th/Shoal Creek
water @ 29th/Rio Grande
Breakfast at Taco Joint (134 E Riverside) when you arrive.
