Week of 1/9/2022

Item of note – it appears at the moment that we will not be able to have our traditional pre Austin Marathon party. We’re working on some alternatives…stay tuned!

Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then run (marathoners) 8 x 400m repeats w/a partner plus 4 x 400m solo or (half marathoners) 8 x 400m w/a partner. Cool down with an easy mile.

Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then run a hilly ladder of 1 mile, .77 mile, .5 mile, and .25 mile.

Saturday – there will be a long run departing the zero at 7:00:00 am. Mostly off the trail this week for 20.18 miles, 10.02 miles, 8.03 miles, or 4.27 miles. Breakfast at Little Mexico (2304 S 1st St) at 10:20:30 am.
