Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then run Fartleks for 27 minutes. Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do hilly 1000m repeats (Fun Group = 3, Fast Group = 4, Fools Group = 5). Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero mile marker at 7:00:00 am, but wait…there’s more! This Saturday we will be embarking on what Coach Al likes to call the TRIPLE THREAT TRAINING RUN. Fools can, but certainly don’t have to, start at 6:00:00 am with a 1 mile run, followed by a 5k at 6:15:00 am, followed by your choice of a 10k, 10 Miler, or half marathon at 7:00:00 am. Breakfast at Little Mexico (2304 S 1st) at 9:10:11 am.
