Coach Al needs pace group leaders for Saturday’s long run…let him know if you can help!
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then run Fartleks (26 minutes of continuous running by striding on 9th and 10th and jogging on Wayside and Possum Trot). Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do long hill/short hill (run up 11th from Possum Trot to Meriden then come half way down then run back up to Meriden = 1 set…marathoners = 8 sets, half marathoners = 6 sets, fun group = 4 sets). Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero mile marker at 7:00:00 am. On/off the trail this week for 14.18 miles, 10.85 miles, 8.13 miles, or 4.72 miles. Breakfast at Taco Joint (134 E Riverside) at the precise moment of your arrival.
