Coach Al needs pace group leaders for Saturday’s long run…let him know if you can help!
SAVE THE DATE! I feel a happy hour coming up…not this Tuesday but NEXT Tuesday 10/18.
Tuesday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then run (marathon group) a timed mile, an indian file mile, and 2 x 1 mile repeats or (half marathon group) a timed mile, an indian file mile, 1 x 1 mile repeat or (fun group) a timed mile and an indian file mile. Cool down with an easy mile.
Thursday – meet near O. Henry at 10th/Wayside for an easy 1 mile warm up before the drills which begin at 6:00 pm…we’ll have water available. Then do a tempo run of (half marathoners) 3 miles or (marathoners) 5 miles. Cool down with an easy mile.
Saturday – there will be a long run departing from the zero mile marker at 7:00:00 am. On/off the trail this week for 10.52 miles, 7.11 miles, or 5 miles (turn back at the cooler at Barton Hills/Wilke). Breakfast at Rudy’s (3914 N Lamar) at 9:10:11 am or when you get there.
